Until very recently, Diesel House only built
websites for artists that rented with us. We are now expanding this
opportunity to artists based anywhere in the world.
Our site attracts on average over 12,000 hits per month
and there is a genuine opportunity to make significant sales by joining our
online gallery.
Basic Service - Website
for £95 per annum
Diesel House Studios will be building web sites for
artists for £95 per annum. (subject to terms and conditions below)
As part of this program Diesel House will be actively
targeting galleries from across the UK to visit all the artists on the
Diesel House site. The intention is to generate significant sales for the artists registered with us and to create exhibition and commission
opportunities for them. Even artists who already have their website
will benefit as Diesel House attracts several thousand visitors a month who
will then be directed and encouraged to go directly to your site.
NB Diesel House Studios
does not take commission on online sales where the customer deals directly
with the aritst
Enhanced Service -
Website for £225 per annum
For those artists that wish
to generate even greater interest, we are going to link with Galleries
Magazine (www.artefact.co.uk) who in
the last year attracted 3 million hits.
Diesel House will arrange
to have you also registered on the Galleries Magazine website. You
will be listed as an artist in your own right, and the link on the site will
link back to your site at Diesel House.
Sales Via Online Galleries
Diesel House will not take any commissions from artists
for online sales and will provide all contact details on the site so that the artist can deal
directly with the customer.
Some artists do not want
however, to deal with the public. On these occasions, Diesel House will take
a commission of 40% on the sale price.
Instructions &
Guidelines for Submission - Post
It is vitally important that you read ALL
the guidelines below for your work to be selected and that you understand
all of the conditions prior to you sending anything to Diesel House. If you
are unsure of anything at all, just 'Contact Us' using the link opposite.
Applications via post should be sent to the
following address; Diesel House Studios Ltd, Kew Bridge Steam Museum, Green
Dragon Lane, Brentford, Middx, TW8 0EN.
All cheques should be made
payable to 'DIESEL HOUSE STUDIOS LTD' (£95 for basic service and £155 for
enhanced service). If you would like to pay be credit card
please indicate on your correspondence that you would like to do so. (do not
quote your credit card on any correspondence - we will call you and ask for
your details if you are selected)
All fees (other than those for artists not
selected) are not refundable, either in whole or in part once paid.
Diesel House will not build any website until
we have received cleared funds.
Please enclose a stamped addressed envelope
(SAE) so that we may return your cheque if you are not selected for the
online gallery.
Diesel House will ONLY accept
applications by post which are contained on CDs. (both images and Word
documents)
Images must be submitted in jpg format
at 300dpi.
For the fees of £95 & £225 Diesel House will
show up to 12 works of the artists. (additional fees will be payable for
works in excess of this number....see Table of Fees below)
If payment is not received within 7 days of
the date end of the year for which the service has been paid, Diesel House
reserves the right to remove the online gallery of the artist.
Documents for biographies, event
listings, artist statements and CV's will ONLY be accepted in
Microsoft Word format.
All applications must state the

Registered address of cardholder (must be the
artist) if paying by credit card, including the full post code.

contact you)
Your existing website (if you have one)
YOU MUST INDICATE ON THIS DOCUMENT WHICH
INFORMATION YOU AUTHORISE DIESEL HOUSE TO PROVIDE ON THE WEBSITE. With
the exception of the information that you authorise Diesel House to provide
on the website for contacting you, we will not pass on your details to any
person, company, organisation etc whatsoever....ever...period.

document and referenced to the image concerned);

Price (that you will sell to the public for)

Genre/Style
Nationality (this is optional, but important
to some buyers)
Ethnicity (again this is optional, but
important to some buyers)
Diesel House will not take any responsibility
or undertake work for colour balancing, colour correcting or any form of
image or document manipulation whatsoever.
All work submitted will be displayed in the
format indicated by those artists already exhibiting online. There will be
no exceptions to this format.
All CDs documentation, covering letters and
any other contents contained in the envelope sent to Diesel House will not
be returned. All material will be destroyed.
Diesel House Studios will select and admit to
the online gallery, only those artists whose work it believes is of a
requisite standard that adds value to the Diesel House brand. This
opinion is merely the personal opinion of Diesel House and does not reflect
on the quality, saleability or professionalism of the artist concerned in
any way whatsoever. Diesel House's decision to include any artists works on
the website will be final.
The delivery/collection of all work purchased
from the artist will always be the full responsibility of the artist.
In the event that artworks are delivered to
Diesel House, the artist takes full responsibility for all insurance, for
all eventualities whatsoever that may occur between the sale or delivery of
the artwork (which ever is the later) to Diesel House and then subsequently
to the customer, or return to the artist.
Diesel House reserves the right to immediately
remove any work, gallery, or item of information which causes offence or
infringes upon those rights determined in the Race Relations, Sex
Discrimination Act etc whatsoever without notifying the artist. In such
instances no refunds whatsoever will be made to the artist concerned.
The artist warrants that he/she holds all
rights to the works submitted/displayed on the Diesel House website.
Diesel House reserves the right to immediately
remove any work, online gallery, or item of information which infringes upon
any intellectual propery rights whatsoever without notifying the artist. In
such instances no refunds whatsoever will be made to the artist concerned.
Where the artist makes any infringement upon
the rights of any other artist, Diesel House will not take any
responsibility whatsoever for such infringement.
Diesel House will actively work with agencies
such as DACS to ensure that any
copyrights are not infringed upon.
Instructions & Guidelines for Submission - Email

for post, except that you will email the application to the 'contact us'
email address
Send cheques etc in the same way as indicated
in the 'postal submission' guidelines above. Please remember to enclose a
SAE in case you are not selected for the online gallery.
