Biography

Elizabeth Rollins-Scott (b 1962) studied at Isleworth School of Art and Design and gained a BA (Hons) from Middlesex University.  Following completing two residencies Elizabeth set up her own Gallery-Studio in February 2001 which is now the largest privately run community of its kind in London.  Until recently, Elizabeth also practiced as an art therapist at the Limes Nursing Home in London and was recently invited to appear in the first edition of the “Black Who’s Who”.

Elizabeth is currently working on her next two collections, which is centred on the subject of divine energies and in particular, angels and also tropical water invertebrates that is being explored through the media of paintings, ceramics and prints.  Her next solo show is planned for 2006.

As well as her many exhibition credits, Elizabeth has also worked with dancers from the Ballet Rambert, The Isleworth Actors Company and was manager and set-designer for the Latin orchestra Sandunga.  She has also collaborated with the composer Colin Riley, who has worked with the English National Opera.

Collectors of Elizabeth’s work include the Bermudian Maritime Institute, The Bermudan Government, Former Bermuda Prime Minister -  Jennifer Smith, Actor Miranda Richardson and private collectors from Canada, France, America and across the UK.
